Another real classic: Title theme of "Pinball Dreams"
I can remember it quite vividly: Being 12ish years old, sitting in front of my Amiga 2000, and just listening to the awesome music of "Pinball Dreams". To be honest, I was a pretty bad player, but that didn´t matter ;) Nevertheless, that game was a real hit back in the days, as was its successor "Pinball Fantasies". By the way, the coolest table by far was "Steel Wheels" - it had pretty nice music, too.

Now - is this dancy or what!?
Another classic from the Amiga age: the title theme of "Crystal Hammer"
for the Commodore Amiga. The 1988 game was just a breakout clone (for
those of you who are too young to know what that means: you control some
sort of a rectangular "bat" to bounce a ball against stones to destroy
them. You lose the ball, you lose a life), but the soundtrack... oh yeah, the soundtrack. Whenever I give this track a listen, I absolutely have to move
to the music. A real classic everyone should know.
Makes for a good summer day listen at the beach, too...

It´s been a long time...
re.
That´s what I would´ve said back in my IRC days, when I came back from an absence of several days. I realize that it isn´t really fitting in this case, because my last blog post was two years ago. A lot of things have happened during those 24 months, I quit my job and edited my life plan - now I am self-employed and loving it. And, as it happens, I think I got time to continue the Church of Chiptune.
Maybe some of my "old" subscribers are still with me - I´d appreciate that.
So, without further ado, here´s the tune of the day. Something "new school" by one of the best contemporary chiptune artists: Dubmood.
