Now this is special: "Defssupr" from "TFX"

Now this is REALLY special. TFX is "Tactical Fighter Experiment", a combat flight simulator from 1993 for PC. There were different versions of this acclaimed game, one came on disks, one came on CD - and one had a special sound engine optimized for the "Roland SCC-1" sound card.

The sound of this version is very, _very_ cool. The music is pretty relaxed and atmospheric, there is no aggressive tune, but it certainly goes with the feeling of the simulation. I gotta admit, this certainly is NO chiptune - it is just very pleasant computer game music.

I present you the track "Defssupr". Let me know what you think.

  4. Will definitely be back soon to support your blog flowchiller

In the mean time I can share with you a piece I really love - The intro to Mystic Towers by Apogee. Can't help but get my head nodding to that, and some of the level music is solid too.

If you have time, check out that track!

Hey, I couldn't find an e-mail address in your profile, so I figured I'd drop it here and embarrass you.

I was hoping you'd be cool with doing a guest post on my blog. I really dig your stuff and I think other people would, too. If you're interested, shoot me an e-mail. Just go to my website (kingcorvid.com) and hit the 'Contact' link below the header image. The e-mail address should be in a link there. Let me know.
